There are a lot of things about the game itself that many people are not aware of unless they are total gamer freaks. To counter their aggressiveness, Aion created twelve Empyrean Lords to safeguard the most important thing in the universe, which is the Tower of Eternity. It is also the source of Aion’s power. The Empyrean Lords created a safe area surrounding the Tower so that civilization could flourish. Basically, that is the history of Aion. The actual story is a lot more involved and complex but it should be enough for now.
