My up-line did not provide with a real plan to market on the Internet. I don’t know if he was to busy or just did not know how to market on the Internet. I had a company replicated website and it was suggested that I use Twitter and Facebook to drive people to my website. The problem was that I did not have a clue how to do that and no one was showing me how.
When I started I did not need suggestions. I needed a simple step-by-step plan. I needed something I could start right away and that I could teach to others. I had no idea how to use Twitter and Facebook to market my opportunity and products. I didn’t have a Twitter account and I never bothered to use Facebook.
I have to admit that I was struggling and frustrated. I spent a lot of time and some money, but I discovered that both Twitter and Facebook are important tools for Internet marketing. I also discovered that I needed to be careful not to offend people. If you are going to use Twitter and Facebook has part of your Internet marketing strategy then remember people using those forums do not like people to overtly market to them.
